Gudrun Buhler studied music in Germany in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Karlsruhe.
First she studied piano, conducting, composition and general music education.
She switched to being a singer and recieved her first Master of Voice from 
the Musikhochschule in Karlsruhe. In 2000 she moved to New York City to study at
Manhattan School of music where she received her second Master of Voice in 2002. 
She performed extensively in Europe and in America and is still performing.
In 2016 she was a finalist in the international Altamura Voice Competition and 
later that year she performed in a Peace conference in the Vatican in Rome.
In 2017 she received the prize for Best Singer, Best Show and Best Original Show
for her one woman show "Mozart's Women" from the New York Theatre Festival.
The show is built around several of Mozart's most memorable Opera Arias.
